Waarop moet een golfhandschoen letten?

Voor een goede werking van een golfhandschoen is het belangrijk dat deze goed past en prettig aanvoelt. Een golfhandschoen is bovendien zeer duurzaam, omdat hij lang meegaat en veel slijtage ondergaat. Om er zeker van te zijn dat de juiste maat is, moet de golfhandschoen goed aansluiten. Hij moet bijna te klein aanvoelen, maar hij zet uit als je hem in gebruik neemt. Als je eenmaal gewend bent aan het dragen van golfhandschoenen, kun je niet meer zonder.

Leren golfhandschoen

Net als de synthetische golfhandschoen heeft een leren golfhandschoen zowel voor- als nadelen. Een leren golfhandschoen is comfortabeler dan een synthetische. Leer past zich beter aan de hand aan en vormt zich naar de vorm. Ze zijn ook zeer ademend, waardoor ze iets comfortabeler zijn om te dragen. Leren golfhandschoenen zijn echter iets duurder dan synthetische en gaan iets minder lang mee.

Synthetische golfhandschoen

Synthetische golfhandschoenen hebben zowel voor- als nadelen. Om te beginnen hebben synthetische golfhandschoenen het voordeel dat ze waterbestendiger zijn. Ze zijn ook goedkoper en gaan langer mee. Ze zitten echter minder goed dan bijvoorbeeld een leren golfhandschoen.

Als het veel regent en je golft, kunnen je golfhandschoenen snel zwaar en irritant worden. Daarom is het slim dat er ook waterdichte golfhandschoenen zijn. Daarmee kun je in de regen spelen zonder dat je last van je handen krijgt.

Wat doet de golfhandschoen?

De golfhandschoen verzorgt je handen en geeft je meer gevoel voor de shaft. Het fijne van golfhandschoenen is dat ze je beschermen tegen blaren en andere dingen. Dit is nodig omdat de huid van je handen tijdens het golfen flink kan worden belast.
